Why Dinner?
While there are breakfast programs and lunch programs, there are no healthy, nutritious dinner programs that work across Canada for children.
We are the only charity that solely focuses on providing dinners to children in need.
Using an innovative model, we act as system orchestrators, by facilitating partnerships & execution with partners, providers, and recipients to ensure we deliver food to where support is needed most.
1 in 6 kids in Canada do not know where their next meal is coming from.

“From this program, my kids have an interest in different foods, ideas for meals and increased energy. These meals have taught me how to cook more balanced meals for my family.”

“The experience has been very good as it introduces new food items to my child. At times my child can be a picky eater, and this helps encourage my child to try different things.”

“This regular meal creates an environment where every child is equal which is of utmost importance.”

“I feel our after-school program is well rounded. I want to assist parents as much as we assist their children. Your program of course helps the children, but it helps the parents just as much. By giving the parents a break from cooking 2 days a week lessens some stress and allows parents to spend more time with their children.
